"What kind of photography do you do?"

I get asked this question fairly often when people find out I am a photographer, and it's usually followed up with (or preceded by) "like, w*ddings and stuff?" That's right, I am not even typing out the w word because I don't want any algorithms pointing to me for those! No, I don't photograph w*ddings; I have done a few over the year but the combination of stress and being on my feet all day is too much for me (I have some pretty significant knee and back issues). So no to those. So what DO I photograph? Well, people and pets (just not at that aforementioned event)! Some photographers do specialize further than that, but I am happy to photograph people of all ages, and pets too, with or without their people. I do particularly love photographing newborns but I welcome every other age too, from maternity to kids, to high school seniors, families, boudoir, and business headshots. Yes, it's a lot of variety! But each brings it's own creativity and joys and I'm happy to photograph them all. So take a look at my range! And come see me at my photography studio in Hampton Va. :)
